Radikalrouten: Die Titelreaktion von Olefinen mit NaSO2CF3 und N-Hydroxy-N-phenylacetamid bei Raumtemperatur wird erstmals beschrieben (siehe Schema). Die Umsetzung bietet eine praktische und bequeme Route zu einer Serie von trifluormethylierten Alkoholen mit einer großen Bandbreite von funktionellen Gruppen.
