Electronic Stability Control (ESC) has been mandated as a standard feature in a broad range of vehicles [1]. The demand for lower cost and higher integration continues to increase the performance requirements for many of the system's components. In particular, the trend towards placing the Inertial Measurement Unit inside the engine compartment requires operation under harsh conditions, while the costly options of shielding and vibration damping are limited.
