Jumper's knee.

Abstract

SUMMARY “Jumper's knee” (patellar or quadriceps tendinitis) appears to be increasing in incidence in both athletic and recreational activities. The clinical and therapeutic aspects of this phenomenon are described. Much more information needs to be elicited before the symptom complex and its treatment can be formally defined.
