A novel quinoid–donor–acceptor strategy to design a quinoidal–aromatic conjugated polymer PAQM-BT is established. A hole mobility of up to 5.10 cm 2 V −1 s −1 in OFETs is realized, which is among the highest values for quinoidal–aromatic polymers.
