Abstract

In appropriately selected patients, laparoscopic liver resection is feasible and safe, and achieves acceptable survival among individuals with hepatic malignancy and very favourable long-term outcomes in those with recurrent pyogenic cholangitis undergoing hand-assisted laparoscopic segmentectomy.
