Causal association of adipokines with osteoarthritis: a Mendelian randomization study

Abstract

An association between genetically predicted leptin level and risk of total OA was identified. Furthermore, association of genetically predicted levels of adiponectin, leptin and resistin with risk of knee OA were reported.
