Using Newspapers in Science Education.

Abstract

Science in the newspapers can occasionally be of value in the school science curriculum if used carefully and critically. Moreover, science education should aim to develop the ability to read 'newspaper science' critically and carefully. This article gives practical notes and suggestions aimed at helping teachers to use news cutting, and printed material from other sources, in science lessons
