Antibacterial activity of high-dose nitric oxide against pulmonary Mycobacterium abscessus disease

Abstract

These results demonstrate heterogeneity in <i>M. abscessus</i> susceptibility to NO and suggest that longer treatment regimens could be required to see the reduction or eradication of more resistant pulmonary strains.
