Homozygous mutations in <i>DZIP1</i> can induce asthenoteratospermia with severe MMAF

Abstract

Our study strongly suggests that homozygous <i>DZIP1</i> mutations can induce asthenoteratospermia with severe MMAF. The deficiency of DZIP1 induces sperm centrioles dysfunction and causes the absence of flagella.
