Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles are having unique properties and could be useful in biomedical applications and industry. In this work, two types of hydrophilic biocompatible Polyethylene Glycol 400 and 6000 were used for dispersion of zinc oxide (ZnO) in water. The physicochemical properties (PCPs) such as density, apparent molar volume, refractive index, speed of light, molar refraction, electronic polarizability, pH and absorbance (A) were determined. The physicochemical properties and optical data showed a high ZnO dispersion with water and Polyethylene Glycol which revealed that the impact of the hydrophobic chain and hydrophilic -OH groups in Polyethylene Glycol on dispersion activities.
