<i>H. pylori</i> infection contributes significantly to gastric microbial dysbiosis that may be involved in carcinogenesis. Successful <i>H. pylori</i> eradication potentially restores gastric microbiota to a similar status as found in uninfected individuals, and shows beneficial effects on gut microbiota.
