The paper brings original measurement results of the high-frequency electromagnetic field as a product of various communication devices and technologies inside a car. The measurements were performed inside the conventional vehicle under the standard condition at an urban environment. The electric field strength has been measured using BK Precision BK2650A spectral analyzer together with the omnidirectional 8dBi antenna. The measurement took place in the 500 MHz-3300 MHz frequency band, for the EM wave with horizontal polarization. The study did not find indications of increased field levels over exposure limits.
