Hami – The first Stellio solar field

Abstract

The 50 MW molten salt solar tower project Hami in the Chinese Xinjiang province is the first commercial application of the innovative Stellio heliostat. The solar field has been awarded to Dongfang Boiler Group (DBC) who contracted the German-Spanish Stellio Consortium (SC) as technology provider. The Stellio heliostat, solar field, assembly and installation and project implementation are presented.
