Alkylation of α-Halo Diketones via Enol Phosphate Intermediate

Abstract

Abstract β-Substituted α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds were obtained in moderate to high yields by a 1,4-addition of organocuprates to enol phosphate intermediates formed in situ from triethyl phosphite and 2-bromo-1,3-dicarbonyl compounds.
