1-Glycosyl dimethyl phosphite was found to be promising as a new glycosyl donor for glycosylation, and some catalysts such as zinc chloride, zinc chloride-silver perchlorate, bismuth chloride, and methyl trifluoromethanesulfonate were found to promote the reaction.
