Abstract

This study demonstrated that iPlex MassARRAY can be adapted as a useful surveillance tool to provide a faster, more affordable and fairly accurate method for genotyping African <i>S. aureus</i> isolates to identify clinically significant genotypes, MRSA strains and emerging strain types.
