Abstract

Network density and location-based message broadcasting have huge attention in VANET. Prioritizing the messages before transmission will reduce the misbehaviors and false hindering. Different kind of information or data can be transferred through vehicles such as safety-related messages and non-safety ie, entertainment related messages. While transmitting emergency messages among vehicles, data reliability and tamper detection play an important role. In this research, the message priority assignment method is employed to prioritize Emergency messages, General Messages, and Entertainment messages. The SMTP based Similarity metrics may be utilized to locate the message precedence to avert the accidents. Emergency message broadcasting can be done by Adaptive Scheduled partitioning technique. The efficiency of our algorithm is evaluated with other techniques.
