Neuroprotective effects of lacosamide in experimental traumatic spinal cord injury in rats

Abstract

Lacosamide has a neuroprotective effect in SCI in rats that is related to its ability to decrease the production of reactive oxygen species by increasing antioxidant enzyme expression, inhibit lipid peroxidation and attenuate glial cell activation.
