Abstract

In this communication, a new cyanide (CN⁻) ion selective chromogenic receptor (<bold>L</bold>) was developed by reacting 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine with 2,3,4,5-tetraphenylcyclopenta-2,4-dienone.
