Single Replicate Factorial Experiments in Generalized Cyclic Designs: I. Symmetrical Arrangements

Abstract

Summary Single replicate generalized cyclic designs are constructed from a set of generating treatments. This flexible class of designs is used to provide a general method of confounding in symmetrical factorial experiments. It is shown how the confounding scheme can be determined from an examination of the generating treatments.
