TODIM that can capture the psychological behaviour of decision makers is currently developed for multi-criteria decision making (MCDM). However, the classical TODIM can simply handle for crisp value but it is not able to deal with fuzzy information such as triangular fuzzy number. In this paper, a model based on TODIM method using MCDM was presented through an application for solving a smartphone selection problem. The proposed model used triangular fuzzy numbers to change the linguistic terms of criterion weight and utilized then the mean value of Beta distribution to transform the triangular fuzzy numbers into crips values. After calculating the dominance degree of each alternative pair based on gain and loss, the TODIM method can select the best smartphone based on the decision maker's references. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis with different θ values was also presented in order to look at impact on the decision result. The result showed that the psychological behaviour of the decision maker can impact on the decision result.
