Novel chiral aggregation induced emission molecules: self-assembly, circularly polarized luminescence and copper(<scp>ii</scp>) ion detection

Abstract

Two novel chiral molecules<bold>1</bold>and<bold>2</bold>were designed and synthesized.<bold>1</bold>displayed evident CPL activity, whereas<bold>2</bold>served as a highly selective and sensitive “turn-off” fluorescent chemosensor for Cu²⁺.
