We implement a deep neural network (DNN) to attain a 64-Gbps 4-PAM, 4-km MMF link by using 850-nm VCSEL, with BER of 4.41 ×10 <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">-5</sup> . The data-rate-distance product achieves recorded high of 256-Gbps-km for Inter-data center applications.
