Workup for Perinatal Stroke Does Not Predict Recurrence

Abstract

Thrombophilia, arteriopathy, or cardioembolic risk factors were not predictive of recurrent events after perinatal stroke. Thrombophilia evaluation in perinatal stroke should only rarely be considered.
