This paper describes the MIRO Project, a collaborative study of public opinion about a range of traffic demand management (DM) schemes available to urban transport policymakers and operators in Europe. The main focus of the project is to measure the responses of urban dwellers to various DM scenarios, including those which use innovative Advanced Transport Telematics (ATT) techniques.
