Near infrared pulsed photoacoustic technique has been applied for glucose concentration measurement. Both in-vitro and in-vivo experiments show that the measured photoacoustic signal is proportional to the glucose concentration. The predicted glucose concentrations are consistent with the results obtained by standard clinical method. A correlation of R2=0.991 and 0.959 has been achieved for in-vitro and in-vivo experiments, respectively.
