The development of a self-administered dementia checklist: the examination of concurrent validity and discriminant validity

Abstract

This study confirmed the concurrent validity and discriminant validity of the self-administered dementia checklist. However, due to its insufficient discriminative power as a screening tool for older people with declining cognitive functions, the checklist is only recommended as an educational and public awareness tool.
