ABSTRACT Based on a distributed fiber‐optic sensor with a hybrid configuration of Mach‐Zehnder and Sagnac interferometer, cepstrum method is proposed in this paper to realize multilateration by estimating time delay. Compared with traditional null frequency method and autocorrelation algorithm, cepstrum method showed much better location accuracy. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
