Direct observation of dissipative flux motion and pinning by twin boundaries in YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{7-δ} single crystals

We present the first direct observation of Lorentz-force-induced dissipative flux motion and the effect of twin boundaries as pinning centers in a single crystal of ${\mathrm{YBa}}_{2}$${\mathrm{Cu}}_{3}$${\mathrm{O}}_{7\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\delta}}}$ with twin planes oriented in a single direction.
