Crystal Twinning

Crystal Twinning is a structural phenomenon in crystallography where two or more crystal domains of the same mineral species are joined together in a symmetrical orientation, sharing lattice points in a non-parallel arrangement, thereby forming a twin complex that deviates from the ideal single-crystal lattice while maintaining crystallographic coherence.
