SUMMARY A 15-month-old spayed Toy Poodle had marked ascites. At necropsy the liver was misshapen—the left lateral lobe being small, the left central lobe absent, and the right lateral lobe large. The right portion of the right central lobe contained blood-filled cavities 1 to 20 mm. in diameter and a large blood-filled cavity approximately 5 cm. long that extended from the hilus to the ventral border. Histologically, most of the vascular structures were veins.
