The isotope that we think is now most workable is 99mtechnetium diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid. The technique meets all the criteria for glomerular filtration rate and the radiation dose is low. Likewise, it has proved to be an accurate and simple procedure to perform © 1979 by The American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited byMayo M, Krieger J and Rudd T (2018) Effect of Percutaneous Nephrostolithotomy on Renal FunctionJournal of Urology, VOL. 133, NO. 2, (167-169), Online publication date: 1-Feb-1985.Belis J, Morabito R, Kandzari S, Lai J and Gabriele O (2018) Anatrophic Nephrolithotomy: Preservation of Renal Function Demonstrated by Differential Quantitative Radionuclide Renal ScansJournal of Urology, VOL. 125, NO. 6, (761-764), Online publication date: 1-Jun-1981.
