Abstract

In the present study, an attempt was made to solubilize 1 employing two of the most common hydrotropic agents, sodium benzoate (2) and sodium salicylate (3). The solubility of 1 could be increased 98.6-fold and 112-fold at 23±1 o C and 86-fold and 91-fold at 37±1 o C in the presence of 50% w/v 2 and 3 solutions, respectively.
