Hydrotropic Solubilization
Hydrotropic Solubilization is a solubilization method in which the aqueous solubility of poorly soluble compounds is enhanced through the action of hydrotropic agents that aggregate above a critical concentration to form molecular assemblies capable of solubilizing hydrophobic solutes without forming true micelles characteristic of surfactants.
