Medical-surgical nurses' perceived value of certification study.

Abstract

The Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board replicated a study to validate medical-surgical nurses' perceptions, values, and behaviors related to specialty certification. Study results indicated both certified and non-certified medical-surgical nurses had positive perceptions of the value of certification.
