Histogram-Based Color Image Retrieval

Abstract

The theory of image information entropy is adopted as color distribution,and the color spatial distribution entropy is adopted as the spatial descriptor color.The writer also uses weighted-synthetical method and proportion-coefficient method to indicated the image characteristics and designs a image retrieval algorithm based on color histogram and its color spatial distribution entropy.According to the analysis and comparison,this kind of algorithm has a very good retrieval ability of image.
