Circle detection using Hough transform

Abstract

Some methods of circle detection are summarized,for example classical Hough transforms,randomized Hough transforms,generalized Hough transform.And an improved Hough transform of circle detection is proposed based on the shorts and strongpoint.First this method is to preprocess the image,such as gray,filtering,edge detection and morphs and so on,then the Hough is transformed.Its main idea is to replace the circulation with multidimensional array.This method is applied in the detection of fabric waterproof chara-cter.By comparing the classical HT and improving method,the improved Hough transform increase the performance of circle detection,and the precision of detection is satisfied.
