Angiographic demonstration of reversible cerebral vasospasm in porphyric encephalopathy.

Abstract

Using MR angiography and conventional angiography, we demonstrate that cerebral symptoms in porphyric encephalopathy are caused by transient vasoreactive ischemia, the result of reversible vasculopathy, reflected by vasospasm.
