A new study on spatial visualization abilities based on the Space Imagination Test (TPP) has been conducted in international cooperation between Poland and Slovakia. The goal of this study was not only to provide and analyze the levels of spatial skills of Polish and Slovak engineering students at technical universities but also to provide a validation of the test itself. The TPP-test has been developed in frame of the project VEGA 1 , which was granted by the Slovak Ministry of Education in 2000/2002. The test results have been statistically eval- uated and conclusions formulated.
