IN the long-term care of children with convulsive disorders we have become increasingly aware of the frequent occurrence of a significant degree of anemia in those who have breath-holding spells. Such a correlation has not previously been reported. The primary purpose of this study was to test the validity of this observation and to determine its significance.Methods and MaterialsOne hundred and sixty records of children with breath-holding spells were reviewed.
