The plasma chromatograph with capability of oscilloscopic read-out of single pulses of radiation induced secondary ionization was used to evaluate the instrument for qualitative identification and as a gas chromatographic detector using diethyl, di-n-propyl, and di-n-butyl ethers. Evolution of these spectra in terms of the number and position of ion-molecule peaks is demonstrated and discussed.
