ABSTRACT: Photointerpretation of color infrared aerial photographs was used in conjunction with the universal soil loss equation (USLE) and a computerized land information system to identify problem erosion areas in the Quil Miller Creek watershed in Johnson County, Texas. Results indicate that considerable time can be saved when photointerpretation and computer analysis are used in areawide erosion studies.
