Diagnosis of bile duct cancer by bile cytology: usefulness of post-brushing biliary lavage fluid

Abstract

Post-brushing biliary lavage fluid cytology provides superior diagnostic efficacy, and its addition to ERCP procedures is recommended for obtaining cytologic evidence of bile duct cancer.
