Summary A quantitative micromethod for the estimation of C’ fixation is described. The method is capable of measuring antigens in millimicrogram quantities. A use of the micro-C’ fixation method is specifically illustrated by the quantitative inhibition of pneumococcus polysaccharide immune systems by oligosaccharides.
