Treatment of Progressive or Recurrent Epithelial Ingrowth With Ethanol Following Laser in situ Keratomileusis

Abstract

Ethanol may be a useful adjunct in the treatment of aggressive or recurrent epithelial ingrowth following LASIK. Cautious use with the lowest concentration of ethanol may prove useful in these difficult epithelial ingrowth cases. Randomized and prospective studies are recommended to evaluate our experience.
