Iatrogenic Keratectasia after Laser in situ Keratomileusis

Iatrogenic keratectasia represents a complication after LASIK that may limit the range of myopia correction. Based on biomechanical considerations we recommend a residual corneal thickness of the stromal bed of at least 250 microm.
