Recession of the Inferior Rectus Muscle Under Topical Anesthesia in Thyroid Ophthalmopathy

Abstract

We advocate that recession of the inferior rectus muscle with adjustable loop suture under topical anesthesia is safe and effective in patients with thyroid ophthalmopathy.
