Study on Biomass Model of Key Ecological Forest in Zhejiang Province

Based on properties of forest community and species distribution of key ecological forest in Zhejiang province,854 typical sample plots were set up according to the climatic region,site conditions,stand type,community structure,age composition of stand and standard trees were surveyed for biomass in the 2 millions hectares key ecological forest.Biomass models for arbors of each indicator were established taking tree height,DBH and clear bole height as variable,for shrubs taking underground diameter and tree number as variable,and for herbs taking coverage and height.9 biomass models for pine,Chinese fir,softwood,hardwood(I and II),Phyllostachys heterocycla var.pubescens,common bamboo,shrub and herbs were established,with advantages of easy obtain of indicators and good fitting precision and estimation level.
