New Results in the Theory of Multiple Mirror Plasma Confinement

Abstract

AbstractTheory of plasma confinement in a multiple mirror trap is extended. Plasma lifetime is estimated for new regimes with partially devastated loss-cone, which occur at the stage of plasma decay in GOL-3 multiple mirror after termination of relativistic electron beam injection.
