Surgical management of aneurysmal bone cyst of the vertebral column.

Abstract

Three cases of aneurysmal bone cyst of the spine, each involving two segments or more, have been reported. Two of the patients who had had an open biopsy without excision of the tumor were not relieved of their symptoms. One of these (Case 3) had received 3,850 r following the biopsy. Each of the three patients, after adequate surgical procedures, was well when last seen.
